The 90-day extension<\/strong> of current tariffs between the United States<\/a> and China, announced in mid-August, is creating an interesting domino effect<\/strong> that also affects European Amazon sellers<\/strong>. In fact, while it is true that for now U.S.\u2013China tariffs remain at 30%<\/strong> instead of skyrocketing to 145%<\/strong>, it is also true that a rather important time window is opening up to reshape competitive balances<\/strong> in international marketplaces. But how?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s immediately admit that for European sellers<\/strong> this scenario presents both opportunities<\/strong> and threats<\/strong>. On the one hand, pressure on Chinese competitors<\/strong> in the United States could push the latter to concentrate more of their efforts on European markets<\/strong>, intensifying competition<\/strong>. On the other, the temporary stability of tariffs<\/strong> offers European sellers the chance to plan more aggressive strategies<\/strong> to penetrate the North American market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
